Why birth time matters

A birth chart changes through the day.

Date, time, and place determine the chart calculated for a birth moment. The Lagna and house structure are especially sensitive to time and location, which is why uncertain details should produce an honest limitation.

01 · Time

The chart keeps moving.

Planetary positions change at different speeds, and the Lagna moves through the zodiac during the day. A few minutes may change degrees or cross a boundary when a birth is close to one.

02 · Place

Location changes the local sky.

The same clock time in two locations does not produce the same horizon. Place is needed to calculate the Lagna and house structure accurately.

03 · Twins

Nearly identical does not mean literally guaranteed unique.

Twins born close together can have charts that are extremely similar. Small time differences may change sensitive factors, but astrology should not promise a dramatic difference when the chart does not support one.

04 · Unknown time

Uncertainty should stay visible.

If birth time is unknown, Lunora should avoid false precision in Lagna, houses, and other time-sensitive interpretations.

Questions

Useful answers before you try Lunora.

Can twins have the same birth chart?

Charts can be extremely similar when births are close in time and place. Small differences may affect sensitive factors, but not always dramatically.

What if I do not know my birth time?

Use the most accurate information available. Lunora should clearly limit time-sensitive interpretation rather than guess.
